About Artistsoncards

I’ve always loved contemporary and fine art greeting cards. But I often found them surprisingly hard to come by — especially the truly artistic, expressive designs that feel like mini works of art. While many people appreciate beautiful visuals and thoughtful details, cards like these were usually tucked away in specialist art shops or galleries.

That’s why I created Artistsoncards — a place to share meaningful, art-led designs with anyone who loves giving or receiving something truly special.

I grew up surrounded by creativity. My mother, Susan Horsfield — a celebrated UK painter — has been a lifelong inspiration to me. Watching her use colour and composition to tell visual stories has shaped everything I do. Many of the designs in our collection are based on Susan’s original paintings, alongside a growing selection of work from fellow artists who share our values.

Each card is printed in the UK on sustainable FSC-certified cardstock. We proudly work with The Imaging Centre, one of the UK’s leading ethical greeting card printers, to ensure every design looks and feels exceptional. We’re also part of the Just A Card movement, which supports independent makers and artists like us.
