Botanical Prints - Soft studies of flowers and seasonal colour

Botanical Prints – Studies of Flowers and Seasonal Colour

A collection of botanical Giclée prints reproduced from original paintings and drawings by British artist Susan Horsfield.

Flowers, gardens and the changing character of the seasons recur throughout Susan Horsfield’s work. Rather than treating botanical subjects as formal studies, she responded to colour, movement, growth and the particular atmosphere of plants observed in their natural surroundings.

Across the collection, delicate flower studies sit alongside more expressive compositions in which stems, foliage and seed heads are built through layers of colour and freely handled marks. Some works are quiet and observational; others are exuberant, capturing the energy and abundance of a garden or wild planting at the height of the season.

These fine art prints are reproduced from Susan’s original artworks as Giclée prints on Hahnemühle fine art paper, preserving the colour, texture and character of the original work as closely as possible.
