Description
Wild Rose Garden Greeting Card – Botanical Flower Art
A richly layered botanical greeting card featuring wild roses in soft pink, mauve and ivory, opening amongst dense green foliage and scattered rosehips. Fine drawn lines, textured leaves and loosely worked colour give the composition the feeling of an established garden growing freely, with new flowers and ripening hips appearing amongst the leaves.
Taken from original artwork by Susan Horsfield, this expressive study captures both the delicacy of the open roses and the slightly untamed character of Rosa rugosa. The muted pinks and purples sit beautifully against the many shades of green, creating a botanical design with depth, texture and quiet atmosphere.
