White Iris Greeting Card – Botanical Flower Art
£3.80
A richly painted White Iris greeting card by Susan Horsfield, with pale sculptural petals set against an expressive plum, green and gold background.
Description
A striking botanical greeting card featuring a white iris, its broad, sculptural petals picked out with touches of soft yellow, blush and violet. The pale flower stands dramatically against a richly worked background of plum, olive, moss green and muted gold, giving the composition considerable depth and atmosphere.
Taken from original artwork by Susan Horsfield, this expressive floral study combines bold brushwork with layered colour and texture. The contrast between the luminous iris and the darker ground gives the flower a strong, almost luminous presence while retaining the spontaneity of the original painting.
