Susan Horsfield created the original artwork using pastel, paint and touches of chalk. The different marks bring Melchior’s fleece and horn to life, while bold areas of colour give the whole piece the feel of a carefully composed design. He belongs to the landscape, yet remains unmistakably its focal point.
