Vibrant Orchids Greeting Card – Expressive Botanical Art
£3.80
A richly coloured orchid greeting card by Susan Horsfield, filled with layered jewel tones, expressive floral forms and painterly texture.
Description
A richly expressive botanical greeting card filled with orchids and petal-like forms in jewel tones of pink, purple, coral, green, gold and blue. Layered marks drift across the surface, creating a loose, almost abstract bouquet with wonderful movement, texture and painterly energy.
Taken from original artwork by Susan Horsfield, this vibrant mixed-media composition celebrates colour and floral form rather than precise botanical structure. The overlapping blooms and translucent layers give the piece a contemporary, almost gallery-like character, while still retaining the softness and spontaneity of hand-worked artwork.
