Thistle Canvas Print – Botanical Wall Art – 50 × 50 cm

Description

Originally created by Susan Horsfield especially for Artists on Cards, this botanical study is now reproduced from the original artwork as a fine art canvas print in the AOC Editions collection.

Sculptural stems and finely drawn leaves rise through luminous shades of turquoise, blue-green and fresh green, crowned by soft pink and violet flower heads. Susan’s expressive use of colour and line captures both the delicacy and the wonderfully architectural character of the thistle, while the pale ground gives the composition a light, contemporary feel.

Part of The Wildflower Collection by Susan Horsfield, this work has been carefully selected by Artists on Cards from Susan’s original botanical paintings for its distinctive form, beautiful colour and wonderfully fresh character.
