Chestnut Cockerel Framed Giclée Print – Susan Horsfield

Description

Full of character and warmth, Chestnut Cockerel is reproduced from an original artwork by British artist Susan Horsfield.

With his magnificent red comb, rich chestnut-brown plumage and dramatic black tail feathers, this expressive cockerel has a wonderfully confident presence. Susan’s lively brushwork and layered marks give the feathers movement and texture, capturing both the character and unmistakable stance of this much-loved farmyard bird.

The warm chestnut colouring is beautifully balanced by deeper charcoal and black, while flashes of red draw the eye towards the cockerel’s wonderfully animated head and comb. Set against a clean, pale background, the composition remains fresh and uncluttered, allowing the bird to take centre stage.

Chestnut Cockerel makes particularly characterful wall art for a kitchen, breakfast room or dining space and would sit equally happily in a country home or more contemporary interior.

A lovely choice for chicken keepers, country-living enthusiasts and anyone who enjoys distinctive animal and bird art.

Part of the AOC Editions wall art collection, Chestnut Cockerel is carefully reproduced from an original artwork by Susan Horsfield as a fine art giclée print.
