Golden Cockerel Framed Giclée Print – Susan Horsfield

Description

Full of warmth, colour and character, Golden Cockerel is reproduced from an original artwork by British artist Susan Horsfield.

Standing proudly against a clean, pale background, this wonderfully confident cockerel is brought to life through glowing shades of golden yellow, burnt orange and rich red, contrasted beautifully by his sweeping charcoal-black tail feathers.

Susan’s energetic handling of colour and line gives the bird a wonderful sense of movement and personality. The loosely worked feathers and expressive marks create texture throughout the plumage, while the simplicity of the background allows the cockerel himself to command attention.

Cheerful without becoming overly whimsical, Golden Cockerel makes particularly striking wall art for a kitchen or breakfast room. Its strong composition and uncluttered background also allow it to sit beautifully in a contemporary interior as well as a more traditional country home.

A lovely choice for chicken keepers, country-living enthusiasts and anyone who enjoys distinctive animal and bird art, it brings warmth and a lively splash of colour to a room.

Part of the AOC Editions wall art collection, Golden Cockerel is carefully reproduced from an original artwork by Susan Horsfield as a fine art giclée print.
